Individual Faculty Research Awards
CLRC Individual Faculty Research Awards support quality research in the areas of Chicano, Latino, Latin American, and migration studies by UC Santa Cruz faculty. Academic Senate members in the Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts Divisions are eligible to apply. Recipients may use the awards for student assistance; travel for research or to present work at a professional meeting; books, software packages, and supplies; and miscellaneous services, such as manuscript preparation, translation, transcription, and video documentation. Recipients are expected to acknowledge the CLRC's support in any publications related to the sponsored research and to share their findings in a public forum convened by the CLRC. Additionally, they must submit a report at the end of the fiscal year. Applications are usually due during the fall quarter.
